About iFindContact
iFindContact is the missing link between your brain and the built in Contacts application.
With iFindContact you can filter contacts based on random information.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that you knew where a company was located but not what the name was.
iFindContact will find the company for you (unless you have not stored it).

Or, you have frequently changing groups of contacts (you are a consultant, headhunter etc) which makes it virtually impossible to remember all by name.
Unless you remember nothing you can now search on that one thing that you DO remember...
With iFindContact you can:
  • Show Photo's in front of the name
  • Search in groups or all contacts
  • Search for only Persons or Organizations
  • Search Cascading (Search in Search) or renew each search
There are 2 version of iFindContact. iFindContact and iFindContact Free. The only difference is that iFindContact Free shows iAd banners on the groups page and the persons page.

A successful search will show you all results including the first hit for each contact that iFindContact found.

The following search filters can be enabled/disabled in the preferences:
  • Name (first name, last-name, middle name, prefix, suffix, nickname)
  • Phonetic Name (first name, last name, middle name)
  • Organization (organization, job title, department)
  • Email
  • Note
  • Address (street, city, state, zip, country, country code)
  • Date
  • Phone
  • Instant Message
  • URL
  • Related Name
Preference settings can be set through the Settings Application. Look for the iFindContact logo/name in the Settings list.

    The Groups view enables you to preselect a smaller group or just use all contacts.

    Setting the Search Criteria is easy.

    Search every Contact for the word 'Amsterdam'.

    iFindContact shows you what it found.
    The next search can be based on the previous search results.

    Look at (and edit if you want) the Contact.

IMPORTANT
The more search filters you enable the longer a search will take.
We have tested with a 600+ Contacts database on an iPhone 3G. A single search with all search filters enabled can take up to 15 seconds.
